I gotta give you props Istanbull for mentioning Metroid Prime--I didn't know you had it in you. But to go further along with your comment, Braid really isn't on the same scale as those games. Braid would compete more with games like Shadow Complex, Limbo...things of that nature.

There is no remedy for the problem. I find that fanboys make the most delusional and irrational comments and get 50+ agrees and 5 disagrees, lol. People like that, I just hit the ignore button on them.
I agree with most of what's written, minus the last part about host. In Gears 2 I knew when I was host, but since their using servers I really don't think anyone has host advantage except on a RARE occassion.

That was a nice article write up. Gears 3 really doesn't have any competition--at this point anyway. The stuff that goes on in Gears 3 is quite the spectacle that I don't think anyone will be able to surpass. But in a more humble rhetoric I'll just say that Gears 3 is a unique experience in the shooting genre.

In that person's defense, they were actually comparing UT options that would possibly be generated for the Gears franchise--as far as what the pc community creates. But in my opinion, Gears going multiplatform would be Gears being gimped. I'm rather sure that no one is going to buy a $300 system for a fighting game when they can pick up an arcade stick for as low as $50. But yeah, the D-pad on the standard 360 controller is sh*t.

I think this game has an offline campaign mode with bots thats the same as the online portion. So people won't really be hurt if they buy it, seeing as though you can still get the Trophies. I'm almost certain of this...
